Thanks, Dave - & thanks for the original idea? For those on the Island, I've also just put up a version of the script that works for the Vancouver Island Regional Library: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/60170.
I'm not sure the "status" codes are all correct, but it'll at least tell you if a book is checked out or not.
